Five human traffickers killed in katsina state

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, the state police commissioner, Katsina. CP Sanusi Buba, announced to the public that the police killed about five suspected kidnappers who terrorized Gangamawa, Kwari and other villages in Dutsinma and Jibia, the state’s local government.

The suspected criminals were apprehended alongside deadly weapons discovered from their hiding places. They tried to shoot the police back, but they were outnumbered and fired.

It has been revealed that few victims have been rescued on the mission.

He also added that there has been a major terror in these areas by these armed men, and that is why the inhabitants have been subjected to fear.

There were teams working alongside the police to make sure these criminals were brought to the brook and got what they deserved, such teams were community vigilantes.

Police Commissioner also said that they had recovered two AK-47 riffles along with a number of unused bullets and stolen property from their victims.
